ABC Bank Tops in Latest Banking Industry Customer Satisfaction Survey

In a ceremony at Radisson Blu, ABC Bank emerged victorious as the Best Bank in Tier 3, securing the top spot in the 2023 Banking Industry Customer Satisfaction Survey conducted by Kenya Bankers Association (KBA). The results, released on March 5, 2024, showcased ABC Bank’s commitment to excellence.

Shamaz Savani, ABC Bank Group Managing Director, expressed gratitude, stating, “This award is a validation of our ongoing efforts to innovate, collaborate, and make a meaningful impact in our industry. It’s a reflection of the passion and talent that defines our team.”

The comprehensive survey, spanning from September to November 2023, collected over 30,000 responses. It provided valuable insights into the banking public’s feedback, covering various aspects such as customer experience and banking channel preferences.

Habil Olaka, KBA Chairman, highlighted key findings, stating, “The 2023 Customer Satisfaction Survey report reveals that 87% of people living with disabilities have self-access to banking services. The most preferred mode of banking is mobile at 75%, followed by internet/web access at 25%.”

ABC Bank’s success in 2023 marks a consecutive win, as the institution retained its 1st position from the 2022 Banking Industry Customer Satisfaction Survey. In addition to the Tier 3 Best Bank award, ABC Bank received recognition as the Best Tier III Bank in Digital Experience, securing the winner’s position. This adds to the bank’s achievements as the 2nd runner-up in the same category in previous years.

The awards affirm ABC Bank’s dedication to delivering exceptional service, driving innovation, and maintaining a strong digital presence within the banking sector.
