Iran – In a strong statement on Sunday, November 3, 2024, Major General Hossein Salami, the commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), warned the United States and Israel of a severe response from the Islamic Republic and the resistance forces.
General Salami’s remarks were made on the occasion of Iran’s National Day against Global Arrogance, a day marking the 1979 takeover of the US embassy in Tehran.
The IRGC commander described the United States as Iran’s primary adversary and referred to Israel as the “criminal and terrorist Zionist regime.”
Hossein cautioned that the US and its allies could expect a “crushing response” from resistance forces throughout the region if they threatened Iran or its allies.
Highlighting Iran’s preparedness, Hossein Salami assured that both Iran and the resistance front would acquire all necessary means to counter any threats from their adversaries. He emphasized that Iran would remain resilient and fully prepared to protect its interests and values in the face of external challenges.
