Israeli’s most wanted gang leader of Abergil Organisation arrested in Johannesburg

The Israeli gang leader who was hiding in the suburb of Johannesburg, South Africa was nabbed today by a multi-disciplinary team led by Interpol South Africa, Detectives, Organised Crime, Crime Intelligence and Special Task Force (STF)

In statement by South Africa Police Service (SAPS) spokesperson Colonel Athlenda Mathe, the leader has been in Interpol Red Notice since 2015, the crime leader did multiple crimes in Israel and flew the country and has been hiding in Bryanston., The gang leader is linked to bombing 2 vehicles in 2003 and 2004 that left many people injured

SAPS Spokesperson also said the Israel based Abergil Crime Organisation is conducting criminal activities including drug trafficking and extortion worldwide

As of today take down operation of the 46yr-old leader of the crime organisation, 5 assault rifles , 7 pistols, USD 40,000 (Ksh4,880,000) and 3 suspected stolen motorcycles were seized.
