During a recent operation in Huruma, Nairobi County, conducted by detectives from Starehe, seven suspects were arrested and a significant amount of narcotic drugs were seized.
Acting on a tip-off from the public, the raid took place on Saturday night and resulted in the recovery of over 10 kilograms of marijuana, along with 450 rolls of the same substance. In addition, weighing scales, daggers, and gas cylinders suspected to be stolen were also found.
DCI also impounded a vehicle believed to be used for distributing the drugs in different parts of the city.
The seven arrested individuals identified as Alex Murimi, Woche Sipa, Clinton Odinga, Kevin Kimani, Mohamed Wako, John Chege, and Hassan Yussuf are now facing charges related to drug trafficking, possession of narcotics, and preparation to commit a felony.
