In a nation that is experiencing economic hardship times, the President’s numerous foreign trips ignite twist of feelings as some of citizens complains about President William Ruto moves.
Using their social media, residents are protesting against President Ruto travel out of the Country, counting Ruto’s foreign flight, citizens and media say the President in within 1 year in State House has already travel out of Country 39times.
I leave a struggling life, I am overtaxed by the same regime I elected. The regime that promised to lower the cost of living, currently President Ruto is making Policies that will make my life more hard than now, said Nairobi resident Noah Wafula.
Noah added that, he believes the President’s foreign trips is overspending the taxes also it’s likely Dr. Ruto will borrow more loans from World Bank, China, IMF and others foreign investors.
President William Ruto in a press statement said his government have cut foreign spending by approximately KSh500million. This have struck a mix reactions to many residents.
