Samuel Karanja, who goes by the alias “Kumenya,” has not only drafted his own eulogy but has also embarked on the process of collecting funds to purchase a coffin. What sets his preparations apart, however, is his unique approach to testing out his future resting place.
In his own words, Samuel explained that he occasionally enters his self-made resting space, spending a few hours inside to get a feel for how it will be when the time comes for him to be laid to rest.
The resting place that Samuel has constructed is a tall rectangular structure that resembles a kennel, complete with a sturdy steel door. Notably, he has boldly writes his alias name, “Kumenya,” on the wall of his final resting place, leaving a lasting mark on his unusual memorial.
