Woman Drugging Boda boda Before Robbing Them Arrest With Her Team

Tuesday, July 4, DCI successfully dismantled a notorious motorcycle theft ring, putting an end to their operations. The investigation uncovered a highly organized criminal gang responsible for the disappearance of motorcycles in various towns across the country.

The stolen bikes were then transported to Loitoktok town before being smuggled across the border, where a thriving market awaited them.

In a breakthrough arrest, detectives apprehended Agnes Wambui, who is believed to have acted as the bait to attract unsuspected boda boda riders. Wambui would pose as a passenger and, using stupefying tactics, incapacitate the riders before making off with their motorcycles once they lost consciousness.

Through extensive investigations, the detectives were able to trace Wambui’s connections to other accomplices involved in the theft ring. Among them were Daniel Mwaniki and William Nkadanyo, also known as Saningo. Nkadanyo was apprehended in Loitoktok town, a known hub for the illicit trade of stolen motorcycles.

During the arrests, the suspects were found in possession of stolen mobile phones, including one that had been taken from a motorbike rider who had fallen victim to the gang’s stupefying techniques in Juja, Kiambu County.

Furthermore, the police managed to recover over 30 tablets suspected to be stupefying drugs. Also, it was discovered that the suspects had pending criminal cases in Ongata Rongai, Kajiado County, and Diani, Kwale County.
