Meta Platform, WhatsApp is one of the world’s most popular messaging apps, has recently announced several updates that will bring new features and improvements to its platform.
The first update that WhatsApp has rolled out is a new feature called “disappearing messages.” With this feature, users can choose to have their messages automatically disappear after a set period of time, ranging from 7 days to 90 days. This feature is designed to give users more control over their conversations and ensure that sensitive information is not kept around longer than necessary.
In addition to disappearing messages, WhatsApp has also introduced a new feature that allows users to mute their chats indefinitely. This means that users can now silence annoying group chats or individuals that send too many messages without having to worry about unmuting them later.
Another update that WhatsApp has announced is the ability to join group calls even after they have started. Previously, users could only join group calls before they began, but now they can join in progress if they miss the initial invitation.
Last but not least, Meta has also improved the quality of its WhatsApp video calls. With the new update, users will be able to see up to eight people on the screen at once, making it easier to connect with friends and family in a more immersive way.
